Pop and Color, As Jubilee Party Paints Meru Red
It was a show of might at Kaaga Primary School in Meru as Jubilee supporters turned in numbers to welcome President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The occasion was attended by a number of government officials, senators and members of parliaments allied to the jubilee party.
Speaking at the event, the president asked the party’s aspirants to mobilize their supporters to register in large numbers, He also emphasized on the importance of voter’s card saying the region has over half a million people who have been issued with new identity cards since the year 2013.
However, the event did not miss some sideshows, Nairobi County senator ‘Mike Sonko’, showed up at the event chewing Miraa, making him a favourite to the youth who had turned up in large numbers.
Gubernatorial aspirants Kilemi Mwiria did not hesitate to tell off the KIKALI outfit referring to them as the ‘Meru Jubilee’.
Meru senator Kiraitu Murungi assured his opponents that he will support whoever wins in the nomination process should he lose, saying that the next government is big enough for everyone.
