Meru Political ‘Bundle Boys and Girls'

August 8, 2017 general elections are just months away and politicians are using every means possible to get to the masses.

The internet crowd arguably constitute a large a number of registered voters, with this in mind, politicians across the country are using the internet to gather masses in preparation for the general elections.

In Meru, political big heads including Senator Kiraitu Murungi and Governor Peter Munya have enrolled the services of ‘Bundle boys and girls’ to help in pushing their agenda to the social media enthusiates as they try to outdo each other and place themselves way ahead of the peers in the coming elections.

In a layman’s language bundle boys and girls refers to people who have been paid by politicians to push their political agenda in different social media sites such as facebook, tweeter and whatsapp.

Here is a list of the top five most effective Bundle Boys to watch in this year’s campaign trial.

5.Luoi Bundi Tony

Tony is one of the harshest critique of the KIKALI outfit, Tony who according to information on his social media account he hails from Maua and on several occasions he has been spotted alongside Meru Governor Peter Munya.

The lad on several social media platforms hras continued to drum-up support for the Meru governor  and his sentiments and opinion always attracts significant number of likes and comments on different facebook and tweeter pages including,The New Meru Economic and political forum which has over  90,000 followers.

4.Antony Manyara

Manyara who is an architecture student at the University of Nairobi has been on the forefront in defending Governor Munya’s  development record on social media.

The champ has managed on several occasions to engage in social media debates involving the Governor,hard to say how he does it, but he has always managed to be the victor in such debates.

Manyara is the admin uuuof the popular Meru Economic and Political facebook Forum with over 50,000 followers to its name.

3.Annet Karambu Nyaga

Tharaka-Nithi politics are gearing up and picking Momentum, in the middle of the pace is Annet Karambu Nyaga, a staunch die-hard follower of the current Governor Samwel Ragwa.

The young lady has on several occasions come-up openly to defend the governor on social media platforms sighting the errors in other aspirants.

Karambu uses ‘Bad Mouthing’ political technique to discredit Governor Ragwa’s opponents and she is vocal on the popular ‘Tharaka Nithi Speaks’ facebook page which is followed by more than 50,000 people.

2.Hon Marvo Mzito

Marvo  is the biggest social Media mouthpiece for the current Meru senator Kiraitu Murungi who is vying for the Meru Gubernatorial seat.

The former Mt. Kenya University students Chair has been on the forefront to address social media users on the plans and aspirations of the senator  who is part of the KIKALI outfit.

Marvo’s influence on the Youth who makes a large number of social media users is practically unmatched.

The young man has been able to quell disputes, win debates and also sell Kiraitu Murungi’s  ‘Making Meru great again’ to different platforms  on social media making him one of the most vocal voices in groups which carry significance number of followers.

It is no surprise that Marvo as always accompanied the senator in all political events as well as other developments and work related outings.

1.Mugambi Keffars Muchena

His facebook profile says it all, Kefars is the lad incharge of all the Meru-County briefings/updates according to information on his  profile.


Mugambi a former alumni of Chuka University has been able to sell top agendas of the county boss far and wide on social media.

The young man is a strong point man on social media for the current Meru Governor and on several occasions he has come up to defend his boss as if his live depends on it.

Kefars  has been used as a mouthpiece for the governor to lure the online crowd work that he has done so well making sure to point out issues that relate to politics in Meru county.


Mugambi is among a group of young men who tags along with Governor Munya in all his political rallies and his contribution to Munya re-election campaign is immerse.
